Ten Things you never knew about me ( unless you're someone close)

1. I like to go running to destress myself whenever things get too much :D

2. I might have a bit of an obsessive compulsive disorder thing going on as I'm always rearranging my stuff and shifting about things in my room :X

3. I love the feeling of drinking iced water after you brush your teeth with strong mint toothpaste. Very the nice...

4. I have an Orange named Forlorn the Fallen Floridan Orange :)

5. I can get a tad too overprotective of the people I love, especially my friends.

6. I love/adore/desire black tea/mint tea with sugar!!!

7. I like to cook stuff although it doesn't always come out right but I love my mashed potatoes..

8. I can be very very lame to the point that people can run away from my jokes ;)

9. I usually cover up my emotions.

10. I trust no one completely but only myself and my instincts.

It's just that feeling...

Do you ever get a feeling in the pit of your stomach when you just know something is going to go horribly wrong? It's unshakable and its gnaws at you to the bone. It's there yet there doesn't seem to be a reason to worry but there it is.. constant and underlying.

Dunno if it's just me but I definitely know something big is going to blow up next week and I'll be smack in the middle of it. I've never been wrong about my instincts before. Hmmm.. anyway not much has been going on. Just mugging like crazy for physical geog paper as I studied for the wrong paper other time round.(Mr. Naidu studied for physical instead of human:X)

Time's ticking fast. I wonder when we actually finish our A's will we actually enjoy ourselves instead of being too worried about the results? On a side note, going out with the council peeps next Thursday for movie and late lunch. And I'm officially addicted to 24:D Please get season 5 or 6 for me when the 25th of December comes around. Hee hee. And to brighten up your day or night, here's a joke.

Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cell phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker-function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

MAN: "Hello"

WOMAN: "Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?"

MAN: "Yes"

WOMAN: "I'm at the mall now and found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $1,000. Is it OK if I buy it?"

MAN: "Sure, go ahead if you like it that much."

WOMAN: "I also stopped by the Mercedes dealership and saw the new 2006 models. I saw one I really liked."

MAN: "How much?"

WOMAN: "$68,000."

MAN: "OK, but for that price I want it with all the options."

WOMAN: "Great! Oh, and one more thing....The house we wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $950,000."

MAN: "Well, then go ahead and give them an offer, but just offer $900,000."

WOMAN: "OK. I'll see you later! I love you!"

MAN: "Bye, I love you, too."

The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are looking at him in astonishment.

Then he smiles and asks: "Does anyone know whose phone this is?"

Caring for the Elderly

A family took their frail, elderly mother to a nursing home and left her, hoping she would be well cared for. The next morning, the nurses bathed her, fed her a tasty breakfast, and set her in a chair at a window overlooking a lovely flower garden. She seemed okay, but after a while she slowly started to tilt sideways in her chair. Two attentive nurses immediately rushed up to catch her and straighten her up.

Again she seemed okay, but after a while she slowly started to tilt over to her other side. The nurses rushed back and once more brought her back upright. This went on all morning. Later, the family arrived to see how the old woman was adjusting to her new home.
"So Ma, how is it here? Are they treating you all right?"

"It's pretty nice," she replied. "Except they won't let me fart."

Floccinaucinihilipilification

Ah. I miss Bananas in Pajamas! :D This post is dedicated to the the real heroes of the children's entertainment industry. Even though these bananas started around 1992, as did Barney, they are way much better. Let me tell you why. This is about Barney from wikipedia : Barney is a purple anthropomorphic dinosaur who conveys learning through jumping around singing children's songs with a friendly, optimistic attitude.

Enough said.

Baa! Baa! Shhh...

Reading The Silence of the Lambs now..really riveting and it keeps on distracting me from the math practice that I am supposed to be doing. Teacher's day was fun and going back to Riverside after so long was really nice.

Caught up with the guys and all..lol.. Didn't dare talk to a certain someone as I think he remembers me as the boy who broke the window while playing soccer in class..hahah! I remember all of our faces the moment the window exploded outwards! Priceless i tell you.. and the next thing we knew everyone was running to the canteen in a sudden bout of hunger. And the food is still really good :D
